Flagler Cares Virtual Coalition Meeting

Please plan on participating in a VIRTUAL Flagler Cares Coalition meeting May 11, 2020 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.

The agenda will consist of two parts:

Part 1:  COVID-19 and the Impact of Social Distancing on Vulnerable Families:  How can we respond to increases in Family Violence and Child Abuse and Neglect during and after the Pandemic?

Panelists:

Andry Sweet, President and CEO, Children’s Home Society of Florida

  • Learn more about child abuse and neglect data since the start of social distancing
  • What are experts predicting we will learn about vulnerable families during and after the pandemic?
  • What is the “second curve”?
  • What interventions can we implement NOW and how can we prepare to respond to emerging needs as we enter a phase of recovery?

Part 2:  Updates from Member Agencies.  Complete this brief survey to let us know what you want to hear about from our member agencies.  We will moderate brief updates from agencies and have time for group discussion.
