Trade Up! Contextual Leadership Program with Susan Elliott-Rink
The Trade Up! Contextual Leadership program, facilitated by Susan Elliott-Rink, provides a methodology for helping leaders, professionals, and emerging staff identify and address their blind spots using practical tools and reflection. Individuals often have habitual ways of acting and behaving that can get in the way of their commitments (e.g., well-being, peace of mind, confidence, communication, authentic relationships). Contextual Leadership allows organizations to reveal and eliminate invisible constraints and limitations that are operating in the background of the organizational culture. Having folks participate in this work allows an organization to develop a culture where everyone thrives.
As an organization leader, we invite up to six members of your team to join us at a session. When thinking of who may benefit from contextual leadership, we recommend that you include your high-performing, high-potential, and high-value staff who want to accelerate development and impact performance. This program can build and expand relationships in Volusia County through our shared leadership language and understanding of how contexts are shaping our future.
One-day Intensive Session:
The virtual One-day Intensive is Tuesday, September 30, 2025, and will be held on Zoom. Individuals new to Contextual Leadership are welcome to attend, and anyone with previous Contextual Leadership training or completed work are also invited to participate as a refresh of the concept.
The session will be divided into two parts with the first half beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 12 p.m. We will break for lunch from 12-1 p.m. We will return to the same Zoom link from 1-3 p.m. to deepen work around personal contexts.
