Keynote Address: A Culture of Care
CEUs will be provided for licensed clinical social workers, marriage and family therapy, and mental health counselors.
We’re thrilled to announce the keynote speaker for the 2024 Health & Human Services Summit – Selena Webster-Bass, DMin, MPH, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Voices Institute! With over 20 years of experience in health equity, community health, and cultural competence, Selena brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the stage.
A culture of care recognizes the power of human connection, empathy, and health equity leadership. Health equity leadership requires a wholistic transformational approach that is data-driven, compassionate, and that co-creates with communities. Through the metaphorical lens of head, heart, hand, and heel, leaders will explore healing-centered organizations and authentic community engagement. When organizations co-create with community, trust is bolstered, and ingenuity thrives leading to improved outcomes.
List of Organizations in the Exhibit Hall:
Please see the list of exhibitors at ovfv.org/exhibitors. As a bonus for attendees, the Lions Clubs will be doing vision screenings and diabetes testing. CivCom will also host an interactive Hidden in Plain Sight booth to raise awareness on substance use and vaping prevention.
